Sacramento BDS Goes Statewide
BDS targets CalPERS Board of Administration and the CalSTRS Teachers Retirement Board for divestment as it collects signatures for a statewide vote in 2011.
The Sacramento branch of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement, which was shown the door recently at the Sacramento Natural Food Coop, has initiated a signature campaign for a ballot initiative that would have CalPERS and CalSTRS divest from Israel.
